Edward Mulhare (Devon Miles)

Edward Mulhare played Devon Miles who helped Michael and K.I.T.T. out on the crimes they solve as he was a native actor from Ireland and then moved to London at the age of 19 doing stage shows such as "Othello" (Oppostie of Orson Welles) at the St. James Theatre and performed in many other plays there too including musicals and went to do Broadway like playing the lead in a three year production of "My Fair Lady" replacing Rex Harrison and he toured nationally in shows like "Camelot" and "Deathtrap" with lifelong friend Anne Rogers. He also did many road and TV shows.

His television appearances include "Kraft Television Theatre", "The United States Steel Hour", "The Outer Limits", "Daniel Boone", "Twelve O' Clock High", "The F.B.I.", "The Streets of San Francisco", "Battlestar Galactica", "Hart to Hart", "Matt Houston", "Murder She Wrote", "MacGyver" and even "Baywatch Nights" with his Knight Rider star David Hasselhoff.

He also acted in many motion pictures to add to his credit during the 50's and 60's such as "Giv'a 24 Eina Ona", "Signpost to Murder" (Starring Joanne Woodward and Stuart Whitman), "Von Ryan's Express" (Starring Frank Sinatra), "Caprice" (starring Doris Day, Richard Harris and Ray Walston) and "Eye of the Devil."

Before "Knight Rider" came along he was also a regular in the comedy series "The Ghost & Mrs. Muir" which also starred Hope Lange.

He sadly died on May 24, 1997 from lung cancer and will always be remembered in this series.
