Rebecca Holden (April Curtis)

Rebecca played the computer whiz April Curtis in the second season of "Knight Rider" during Bonnie's absence for the season. She was always fixing problems with K.I.T.T. and anything else her talents were involved in. Apart from acting she is also a singer and is involved with other events as well.

The lovely young Texan has always been determined to dispel the myth that beauty doesn’t mix with brains and talent.  Following her music education from North Texas State University where she majored in voice and piano, Rebecca furthered her voice studies with a professor from Juilliard in New York City.  While in New York she was discovered by a top talent agency and selected as a Breck girl, which led to magazine covers, national television commercials, and ultimately a major television and film career in Los Angeles.

When she did Knight Rider she became a familiar face from viewers all around the world since it was shown in over 100 foreign countries.

She attained her recognizability from her roles as the diabolical Elena on ABC’s “General Hospital” and from countless guest starring roles on such prime time shows as “Magnum P.I.”, “Love Boat”, “Taxi”, “Night Court”, “Mike Hammer”, “Remington Steele”, “Matt Houston”, “Barney Miller”, and many others.

Because of popularity and visibility through foreign syndication, Rebecca has toured extensively overseas.

Rebecca’s rapport with live audiences, combined with her natural vocal ability and high-energy stage presence have been the driving force behind her singing career.  She is a consummate multi-talented entertainer whose beauty, glamour and warmth have dazzled and enthralled audiences everywhere.  Both the Nashville music industry and country music fans in the U.S. and abroad have embraced her.  She has toured internationally and her music videos have appeared on CMT and TNN.  Her recent gospel album “Freedom to Believe” was supported by a European tour.

Despite her demanding schedule, she has found time to devote to numerous charitable causes and civic duties.

Warmth, beauty, glamour, charm, talent, professionalism, and commitment to excellence come together uniquely in Rebecca Holden.  Add to that an enchanting blend of soft southern gentility, a fiery determination to succeed, and a large amount of just plain niceness, and you will see what star quality is all about.
