Episode Review:
With all due
respect to April Curtis (played by

that great, but KITT's new dash is
generally an improvement.

Episode Summary:
KITT's evil
prototype, KARR (the Knight Automated
Roving Robot) returns from the grave
after being discovered buried in the sand

colour black and white with a yellow
light in front of the hood for a disguise
and then KARR manipulates his finder to
help him continue his crime spree by
destroying Michael and Kitt with a new
laser stolen from the Foundation.
Episode Review:
This episode
isn't quite as exciting as the first
season show Trust Doesn't Rust where
KARR made his debut. Still, KARR is
arguably Knight Rider's greatest villian,
and it's good to see him on the prowl
again. The final showdown has KITT and
KARR turbo boosting towards each other
and exploding on impact 50 feet in the
air. It made for a great "coming
next week" preview.

Episode
Review:
Since
Michael's fall from grace isn't explained
till the end, it's fun to watch him enter
the crime world, with a confused but
still loyal KITT supporting him.

completely destroyed. When rebuilt, he is
a coward, and the Foundation considers
retiring him but Michael vows to nail the
owner John Byrock (Ramon Bieri) of a
toxic-waste dump.
Episode Review:
KITT was
"destroyed" 4 times during the
series' regular run. Goliath,
Knight of the Drones, Knight
of the Juggernaut, and this
episode. This is the only
non-season-premiere episode where KITT is
rebuilt, so it comes as a bit of a
surprise. We can see KITT in various
stages of his reconstruction including a
cool pre-painted all white KITT. You know
that everything will be back to the way
things were by the time the episode ends,
but it's fun watching KITT develop along
the way.

Episode Review:
It's a
bit of a stretch to think Michael could
pass as a rocket scientist, but Knight
Rider is all about escapism anyway,
right? Blooper alert: Michael jumps out
of KITT to climb on to a truck, KITT
drives on and turbo boosts over a jeep.
You can see Michael's finger pressing the
turbo boost button even though he's not
in the car.

Some
well-filmed turbo boosts and other stunts
carry this episode.
